Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how TypeGraph ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use myersbriggsgraph.com and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described below.
Information We Collect
We collect only the information needed to operate the Service:
- Account information. If you create an account, we store your email address and, optionally, a display name. Accounts are created through third-party authentication providers, which share basic profile details with us.
- Personality graphs and content. The people, relationships, and personality-type data you create. If you use the Service as a guest (without an account), this data is stored locally in your browser and is not transmitted to our servers until you choose to sign in and save it.
- Payment information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, billing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full card details; Stripe processes payments and shares limited transaction and subscription status data with us.
- Technical data. Standard log information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used to keep the Service secure and reliable.
How We Use Information
We use your information to provide and maintain the Service, authenticate you, save and sync your graphs across devices, process subscriptions, send essential account and transactional emails, respond to support requests, and protect against fraud and abuse. We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies and Local Storage
We use cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in, remember your language preference, and persist guest graphs on your device. Essential cookies are required for the Service to function. You can clear local storage or cookies at any time through your browser settings, though doing so may remove unsaved guest data.
Third-Party Services
We rely on a small number of trusted providers to operate the Service:
- Stripe for payment and subscription processing.
- Authentication providers for secure sign-in and account creation.
- Resend for delivering transactional and account-related emails.
Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy. We share only the information necessary for these providers to perform their function.
Data Retention
We retain account data and your saved graphs for as long as your account is active. Guest data lives only in your browser and is never retained on our servers. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data and saved content, except where we are required to retain certain records (for example, billing records) to comply with legal obligations.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update your information from your account settings or contact us to exercise these rights. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us so we can remove it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date below, and where appropriate we will notify you through the Service.
